Sam Mendoza

Sam is an infrastructure cost specialist with vast experience helping to deliver megaprojects both in the United Kingdom and Australia. Starting his career after obtaining a Bachelor’s of Business Management and a Postgraduate in Quantity Surveying, Sam started his career in the UK where he helped to deliver a number of rail electrification and water assets projects. Shortly after, he was involved in Hinkley Point C – the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK since 1988.

Since moving to Australia, Sam has specialised in planning and delivering transport projects across the country and has been involved in Canberra Light Rail, Gold Coast Light Rail, Newcastle Light Rail, Sydney Light Rail and Parramatta Light Rail. His expertise is in feasibility studies, cost estimating and planning, procurement and commercial management.

Additionally to his day to day role, Sam has given a number of guest lectures at the University of Technology Sydney and presented at industry events.
