Safwan is one of the lead software developers at Arup's Infrastructure team in Brisbane. Some of his major projects are Brisbane Metro, Melbourne Metro and Western Program Alliance. His work revolves heavily around process automation, creating multidisciplinary platforms and assisting in Arup's digital transformation. His role allowed him to become an Azure mentor and a digital enabler for Arup. He hosts multiple workshops, promoting the latest digital trends and provide training for low code applications to his peers. 

Prior to joining Arup, Safwan worked at Advance Business Consulting as a Network Engineer. During that time, he also finished his B.CompScAd from the University of Adelaide.

Safwan enjoys learning about new topics, working with a diverse group and building connections with multifaceted people. He is slowly developing knowledge in sustainability as he believes digital transformation can have a massive impact on creating an eco-friendly, sustainable world.
