Pieter is a well-respected leader and innovator in the construction industry. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 15 years experience delivering projects for Contractors and Owners the construction, technology and resources sectors across 3 continents. His eagerness to learn and share his knowledge, combined with his strong leadership skills, have provided him with the foundation to create change and value. 

His recent experience includes leading the VDC and 4D initiative on major projects and portfolios for BHP in Australia. In his role as Lead BIM and non-asset projects, Pieter delivers value to different parts of the organisation by leveraging strong project management foundations combined with cutting edge processes and technology solutions.

He frequently presents at technical seminars, conference, universities and to organisations on the topics of 4D planning, projects controls, AI in construction, digital workflows and Whole of lifecycle decision making.
