Obaid Khan is a seasoned Project Controls Professional and has intense experience in Project Controls Strategy Implementation comprised of:

  • Project Planning Strategy

  • Project Finance and Cost Controls Strategy

  • Risk Management Strategy

  • Contracts and Commercial Strategy

Obaid Khan is active currently in the Australian Infrastructure Market and serving a public rail project delivery organisation, RAIL PROJECTS VICTORIA AUTHORITY in the capacity of INTEGRATED PROGRAM MANAGER for Melbourne Airport Rail Link Project (MAR), which is one of the major Rail Infrastructure Project in the infrastructure history of Victoria.

In addition, Obaid Khan has been serving the Project Controls domain for more than 16 years in different capacities across the globe with an intense focus on Rail Industry for the last 10 Years.

Academically, Obaid Khan has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from NED UET, Masters in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University and CPA (Australia). He also possesses PMP and CCP certifications from PMI and AACE. He is a current member of CPA (Australia) and PMI. He is currently enrolled in PhD program with the University of Western Australia and doing research on the topic “Implementation of Fourth Industrial Revolution Strategy for Big Industries”.
