Morayo Adeyemi

Morayo is a Human-Centred Designer and a Freelance Creative that integrates knowledge from 7 years of work in the fields of Built Environment, Community Development and Arts Organising. Her work focuses on centering the lived experiences of individuals and communities in infrastructure design processes through ethnographic research and participatory methods in order to generate enduring Social Value through Infrastructure development.

Morayo brings a wealth of knowledge in Social Value to Jacobs, having planned and delivered various community activation projects such as the Activation & Creative strategies of a Victorian major transport infrastructure project. Before joining Jacobs, she worked on the Alfred Solomon’s - Behind the Counter project, an arts-based activation of Central Footscray, engaging with residents, shop workers and visitors during the Due West Arts Festival.

Prior to that, Morayo worked at the Brimbank City Council as a Youth Jobs Strategist, integrating social procurement objectives with council, state and federal government infrastructure development projects, while ensuring that young community members and local employers were prepared for upcoming opportunities.
