I commenced work in the Australian Building Industry in November 2005 after immigrating to Perth from Sao Paulo, Brazil;, bringing 5 years of experience from overseas. I am a Design Manager / Architect and a former Chair of the Australian Institute of Architects BIM Committee with experience in a diverse range of projects including industrial, commercial, health care, residential, education and defence. 

As a design-focused professional with a passion for detailing, excellent communication and technical skills, my goal is to serve as an interface to the Client and the Managing Contractor to ensure that the project requirements have been correctly conveyed to the construction team; And to provide design, compliance and quality control advice to reduce risk and increase margin with positive impact to the construction, cost and timeframe of the project.

At ADCO, I hold a pivotal role to both pre-construction and construction operations of the business and not only exclusive to projects specific needs. We operate in the commercial construction environment on Construct Only (traditional procurement), Design Construct (D&C), Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) environments and Veri Early Contractor Involvement (VECI). It is Also important to note that all elements of Design Management associated with the above mentioned procurement models can be greatly improved with the proficient use of Digital Engineering / BIM technologies. We pride ourselves of being proficient in the delivery of 3D documentation using Revit software and BIM management procedures and protocols. I have coordinated the multi-disciplinary 3D documentation of large projects, incorporating clash detection and digital coordination strategies as well as environmental impact modelling studies and simulations.

My experience includes project coordination in 4D and 5D (project programming/timeframe and quantities takeoff and cost) utilising BIM technology.
