For almost fifteen years Laura has worked with communities, businesses and governments across the resource, infrastructure, utilities, finance, and not-for-profit sectors in a range of in-house and consulting roles. She brings a strong technical foundation in social sustainability and stakeholder engagement with a passion for strategy development and impact delivery. Working throughout Australia and the UK, her roles have included social and community leaders for a $5 billion greenfield development in the Port of Newcastle and national Community Investment Manager for the Prince’s Responsible Business Network in the UK, Business in the Community. As Head of Advocacy at the Infrastructure Sustainability Council, she leads helps transform leading expert thinking into accelerated sustainable outcomes through the development of thought leadership, partnerships, and advocacy programs.
