Josephine is an Architect and Director at Adelaide based JPE Design Studio. Specialising in a co-design process across multiple disciplines and with local and international practices, the studio offers architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and stakeholder engagement. JPE’s projects are diverse in scale from urban furniture and playground design to public buildings, commercial developments, master plans and streetscapes.

Josephine returned to Adelaide in 2008 after working interstate with Cox Architecture in Melbourne and JCY Architects in Perth on a range of major projects. Previous to this Josephine had a career in retail management, working for global businesses in Adelaide, Sydney and London.

An advocate for the creative industries Josephine established the SA Creative Industries Think Tank in Sept 2019, through her work on Council with the Institute of Architects. Now with over 30 affiliates, the platform is providing connectivity for the sector with an objective to reveal the potential of SA’s creative ecosystem.
