David Naismith

Director & Chief Commercial Officer
Solgen Energy Group

David is an experienced finance professional with over 15 years’ experience in corporate finance prior to co-founding the Solgen Energy Group. Alongside commercial management of large-scale solar project rollouts, David has spearheaded development of new business units such as the Sunlease power-purchase model in the Australian market.

In his last role, David was Chief Financial Officer of a technology group listed on both the NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange responsible for raising capital, driving acquisitions and managing group finance divisions globally. David has overseen large-scale project rollouts for government and leading businesses, as well as overall management of commercial operations at Solgen Energy.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and is a Chartered Accountant.
