David has been a lawyer since 1985 and is the managing director and co-founder of Kreisson an Engineering, Construction and Commercial law firm in Sydney.

Since starting out as a lawyer David has developed expertise as litigator, strategist and problem solver in complex construction and engineering disputes throughout Australia.

During his career David has represented banks, insurance companies, listed corporations, liquidators, construction companies, developers, mechanical, fire, electrical engineering, civil and dredging contractors and subcontractors in residential, commercial, industrial, engineering and infrastructure projects.

Some of the industries in which David has worked include mining and resources; power, hospitals; tunnels; power stations, off loading facilities, marine dredging, NBN, retail and education institutions including schools and universities.

David is skilled in large scale and complex litigation and in the efficient and cost-effective management of legal and project support teams in that litigation.

David is also well experienced in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, negotiations, mediation, expert determination, reference hearings, arbitrations, Security of Payment throughout Australia, Supreme Court and Federal Court proceedings and disputes involving domestic and international commercial arbitration processes.

David is a regular presenter and educator to members of peak industry groups and clients and professional bodies in construction, engineering and related industries and provides training in contract and risk management and dispute avoidance.
