As MAX Build’s General Manager, Caroline’s accountabilities include designing the overall business strategy, managing finance and stakeholder management. She is a key link between the senior corporate team and the projects. Under her stewardship the organisation has sustained an annual average growth of 45%, since 2012. The company employs over 40 staff, is approved by iCare to carry out up to $28m in residential works, is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 4801 certified, and has over 95% employee retention rate.
In 2019, representing MAX Build, she was appointed to the ACRA Board and has enjoyed fostering relationships with the wider built environment sector; including participating in the Office of the Building Commissioner’s Pillar 2 Consumer and Constructors Sub-Groups. Passionate about raising industry standards and culture, with a focus on residential remediation, she has also partnered with UNSW and the University of Sydney in the ARC Linkage Project ‘Transforming Housing: Co-design Guidelines for Existing Apartment Buildings’, become a major sponsor of the Owners Corporation Network, and has established a networking group for women working in the field.
