Alice Vincent
NSW Lead - Resilience, Security & Risk Arup
Alice leads the Arup NSW/ACT Resilience, Security and Risk Team. Alice specialises in analysing security shocks and stresses in cities as well as designing public realm for the safety of its users. She assesses the nature and scale of malicious threats to sites to inform the urban realm design, building design and security strategies. She is particularly interested in designing safer and more inclusive public realm for women as well as more recently looking at “queering public spaces” - how to design for LGBTQI+ communities.
Alice has worked for Arup in London, Singapore and now Sydney. She has worked with local and national government, aviation, finance and property clients to design safer and more inclusive places.
